Most people think that this asana is not much effective for meditation  Some schools do not consider it to be as effective for prolonged meditation sessions because it may possibility to slump forward during sitting. For the beginners they have to sit with back to a wall or they can also put pillow under their buttocks because it is also beneficial for sitting for long time.

  • Sit with straight back .

How to do Savasana ?

As we know that Savasana is the most essential part of our yoga practices. Savasana is most simple asana for that just follow below steps
sleep on the back
spread both the arms and legs approximately 45 degrees
Closed the eyes
Take deep breathing with holding inner breath as you can.

In this position entire body is relaxed onto the floor only awareness of the chest with each breath. Expert recommended that we all have to do Savasana everyday atleast 20-30 minute.

Research on body's internal clock indicate that the summation of several important anabolic hormones peak at 3 and 11 hours upon awakening. Let try to understand with simple word. According to science, if we wake up at 7:00 am, we're at our strongest position at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. And, according to Olympic coach Charles Poliquin, Our joints require approximate 3 hours to get an optimal level of warmth, which will help to improve performance.

Best time Morning or Night Person

According to Dr. Ann de Wees Allen, a Board Certified Doctor of Naturopathy, the best time to workout depends on us whether it is at morning or at night. It is too much simple. As per her believes, we respond better during certain periods of the day and those are the times that we should workout. This reflects our circadian rhythm (i.e. body's internal clock).
